Professor for computer games technologies

Christof Rezk-Salama is professor for computer games technologies at the Computer Science Department of Trier University of Applied Sciences, GERMANY.


He has received a PhD from the University of Erlangen in 2002 as a scholarship holder in the DFG graduate college 3D image analysis and synthesis. In 2009 he has received his post doctoral lecture qualification (venia legendi) in computer science and computer graphics.


Working in the field of computer graphics for more than 20 years, Christof Rezk-Salama is regularly giving lectures and workshops on graphics, visualization, and game development at international venues, including ACM SIGGRAPH, Eurographics and IEEE Visualization. He has gained practical experience in different application fields including engineering, medicine, geology and archeology. 


Christof Rezk.Salama is juror for the German Computer Games Award in the category innovation and for the Red Dot Design Award on communication design in the categories mobile apps and games. As a professor, he is mentoring several independent game startup companies.
